A man has been found guilty of a Shasta County crime in the same building where the crime was committed. On September 24th of last year somebody misplaced their wallet inside the Shasta County Superior Courthouse. It was found by Kendal Scott Gill, who kept it for himself. That was a bad decision because he was caught with the wallet and charged with two misdemeanors: petty theft and theft of lost property. The case went to a jury trial, which concluded Wednesday when the jury found Gill guilty.
