A fire in North Redding that threatened homes was human caused, according to Redding Fire Department. The blaze started a little before 3 O’clock Wednesday afternoon in a Wild Canyon at the end of Deodar Way and Santa Rosa Way off of Lake Boulevard. When firefighters arrived residents of the homes at the top of the hill were keeping the flames away with garden hoses. The fire was held to less than an acre.
