Trinity County has passed an emergency medical marijuana cultivation ordinance. The previous rules included a permanent ban on dispensaries. Outdoor growing was allowed. The number of plants allowed depends on the size of the parcel of land, but the maximum allowed in any case is 8 plants. The Trinity County Board of Supervisors had a special meeting Tuesday night to pass the emergency ordinance, which establishes a permit program for commercial medical marijuana cultivation.
