Burglar Sought After Robbing Red Bluff Home

A man in a wheelchair was robbed of nearly worthless items by a man inside his home early Monday morning. At 3:30AM the 64-year-old victim was asleep at his Walnut Street home when he woke up to smoke a cigarette. When he returned to his bedroom there was a man standing in his closet. He demanded money from the resident, who said he had none. The victim tried to call 9-1-1 but the intruder took away his cell phone and broke it. The robber left with the broken phone and some cigarettes. He’s described as a white man in  his early-to-mid 20s, about 6-foot-2 and 160 pounds with short hair. He was wearing a blue and gray plaid shirt and a red hat with a white diamond on it. He had a fixed blade knife in a brown sheath strapped to his right thigh. He left on foot in an unknown direction.
