A fire has been contained in a remote area of Northern Tehama County. The “Hog Fire” started Tuesday off Highway 36 near Hog Lake northeast of Red Bluff. It may have been caused by a bird flying into power lines. It was contained Tuesday night at 360 acres. It burned in an area of fairly sparse grasslands with patches of brush and oak trees. No structures were threatened.
