Names have been released of the victims of a double homicide near Hyampom on September 4th. The bodies of 47-year-old Michael David Sims of Samoa and 56-year-old Lawrence O’Connor of Eureka were found in a large marijuana grow site just over the Humboldt County line from Trinity County off of Kerlin Creek Road. The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office have not made any arrests, but have said it appears there are multiple suspects.
