A Red Bluff woman in a position of trust betrayed the elderly people in her care, according to the Tehama County District Attorney’s Office. In April, D.A. Investigators were told that an elderly couple was being ripped off by the manager of the residential care facility they called home. Over the course of two years Jennifer Lorraine Adams has allegedly been using the couple’s credit card and writing herself checks from their account. Search warrants were served and investigators say that in Adams’ home they found a credit card belonging to a different resident of the care home, and receipts showing Adams had used it. Adams was arrested on Friday on 20 different felony theft charges and 12 special allegations of aggravated white collar crime. She’s in jail on 475,000 Dollars bail.
