A Yreka man is accused of a knife attack against another Yreka man, according to a story in the Siskiyou Daily News. Early Monday afternoon the victim was at a bus stop on Moonlit Oaks near Main Street in Yreka when he was stabbed multiple times in the face and back. He was transported to Fairchild Medical Center, where he was later interviewed by police. He said his attacker was 23-year-old Scott Schweitzer, who also goes by the name Sonny Pitts. He was arrested Tuesday by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Deputies in Fort Jones. The victim’s condition has been upgraded to “fair”.
