Threats of violence at Central Valley High School are being taken seriously by the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office. The threats that violence would occur Friday at the school were distributed via social media, according to multiple reports Thursday night. Investigators are working with school officials and are following leads as they try to identify suspects. Meanwhile the school is closed for the day out of caution.
