Two of four Tehama County men accused of the continuous sexual abuse and pimping of a 14-year-old boy have pleaded guilty. A school resource officer began the lengthy investigation after suspicions were raised about the relationship between the boy from Gerber and 22-year-old Thomas Seagraves of Red Bluff. He had allegedly forged a note for the boy to be dropped off by a school bus at Seagraves’ house rather than his own home. That’s what started the investigation. More than 26,000 text messages spanning 8 months were reviewed and 8 search warrants were obtained for four homes, including one in Butte County, as well as AT&T Cellular, Sprint, Verizon and Facebook. In April investigators from Red Bluff P.D. and the Tehama County D.A.’s and sheriff’s offices made their move and served several residential search warrants. Many items were seized as evidence and the four men were all booked for sex crimes against the boy. On Friday seagraves and co-defendant 19-year-old Bryan Morrison entered guilty pleas to several charges in a deal to reduce their sentences. The other two defendants, 20-year-old Alexander Isaacson of Gridley and 20-year-old Michael Flowerdew of Red Bluff, have pre-trial conferences scheduled. Neither has entered a plea.
