Seven different law enforcement agencies responded to help capture home invasion suspects in Trinity County. At 8:30AM Wednesday morning a 9-1-1 caller said a home invasion was actively taking place at a house on Fountain Ranch Road in Salyer. The caller reported seeing three men in dark clothing with pistols. They assaulted people in the home as they demanded money and marijuana but fled empty-handed to a location on councilman road as officers and deputies descended on the location in Western Trinity County from the Trinity, Shasta and Humboldt County Sheriff’s Departments, the Forest Service, Fish and Wildlife, the CHP and Redding Police. A perimeter was set up and the CHP flew over but couldn’t find the suspects because of the weather. SWAT Officers from Redding and Shasta responded with Humboldt County SWAT on standby and seven arrests were finally made without incident, 3 men and 4 women. Their names haven’t been made available.
