2nd Police K-9 Diagnosed With Mysterious Illness

As a once-mysteriously-ill Anderson Police K-9 basks in glory, another is recovering from a mysterious illness of his own. Aero, who collared a suspect after a high-speed pursuit Friday, was in bad shape a short while ago with a disorder affecting his chewing muscles.  Thanks to treatment paid for by 20,000 Dollars from the community Aero has recovered and is apparently at the top of his game again but chance, another APD canine, was taken to an animal hospital October 17th with a swollen mouth and neck. He was diagnosed with Salivary Mucocele, a swelling of the salivary glands. Fluid was drained but the problem persisted so last Thursday chance had surgery for the removal of two glands. He’s expected to be back on the job in two weeks. His fans can follow him on Facebook.
