The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office is sifting through a flood of tips related to the search for a missing mother at risk, with help from Redding Police and the State Department of Justice. The last known sighting of 34-year-old Sherri Papini was at 2 O’clock last Wednesday afternoon when she was seen jogging on Sunrise Drive. Her cell phone and other items were later found near the intersection of Sunrise and Old Oregon Trail. Sheriff’s Lieutenant Anthony Bertain says they’ve got a lot of information but no solid leads. Lieutenant Bertain says they’re also going through surveillance footage from homes and businesses in the area. Sherri Papini is 5-foot-4 and 100 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.
