A stalker has been lurking around Shasta College, according to campus security. Someone reported being approached multiple times by a man trying to coax the potential victim into his car. The encounters have been reported near the east parking lot and around the 800 building. The stalker is described as a Hispanic man, 35-to-40-years-old, 5-foot-6 and 170 pounds with dark hair. He drives a black Honda Civic with after-market silver rims. Walking in groups is recommended, especially at night, and campus security is glad to provide safe walks to and from the parking lots. Their number is 242-7910. Redding Police are investigating.
