A man has been arrested by Anderson Police after at least two women described him as “weird” and said he had followed them. The complaints have been made in the past week. One woman said she was followed from the Wal-Mart to the Factory Outlet stores. Another woman said she was followed and chased through Anderson and through the McDonald’s. 29-year-old Carlos Acosta of San Pablo was identified as a suspect through surveillance footage from Wal-Mart and McDonald’s and from the license plate of Acosta’s 2003 Mercury Marauder. An officer spotted the car on Highway 273 at around 4 O’clock Monday morning. Acosta was arrested on warrants from Tehama and Colusa Counties. He allegedly had a weapon, Methamphetamine, and Marijuana packaged for sales. The two victims positively identified him and he was questioned about the staking behavior before being booked into jail. His car was seized.
