Traffic is getting through on Highway 299 in Trinity County. The highway was completely blocked by a rock slide at Big French Creek near Big Bar. Cal-Trans had anticipated it would remain closed until Wednesday, but they moved enough material and stabilized the bank over the weekend to allow for one-way traffic control. 15 minute delays can be expected.
