A burglary was solved quickly Wednesday night, according to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office. At 6:20PM a resident of Eastridge Road in Cottonwood reported his home had been burglarized. An acquaintance of the victim, 31-year-old Kenneth Fields, was contacted and he reportedly admitted to the break-in, providing investigators with the location of the stolen goods. Deputies went to two homes on Buena Vista Court in Bella Vista and recovered seven guns that had been taken in the heist. Fields was booked into jail.
