A major equipment failure has caused a widespread power outage in the Round Mountain/Montgomery Creek area. About 800 PG&E customers are currently without electricity. Crews are working on repairs and restoration is expected by 2 O’clock Monday afternoon. There’s also a downed power line near Deschutes and Balls Ferry Road that has 39 customers in the dark. Another outage is affecting 63 customers in the Lakehead area. Many more outages area affecting thousands in Tehama, Butte and other counties to the south.
