Police in Red Bluff are warning that a sexual predator is on the loose. 24-year-old Jose De Jesus Esparza Jr. was recently released from prison and paroled to Tehama County. He had a GPS monitor strapped around his ankle so his parole agent could monitor his whereabouts, but on Monday he cut the monitor off and absconded. His current location is unknown. Esparza is 6’1″ and 188 pounds. He’s Hispanic with black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. He’s considered a high risk sex offender and anyone who sees him is advised not to approach him, but to immediately call law enforcement.
