Update: Fire Near Shingletown Nearly Contained

A fire in the Shingletown area has been nearly contained. The blaze was first reported late Monday afternoon, located near Grace Lake, a small PG&E lake south of Shingletown off of Wilson Hill Road. No structures were threatened as the fire had a reported slow spread. It’s 95% contained as of Tuesday afternoon after burning 45 acres. The cause is unknown.
