A program in Redding seeks to help veterans deal with stress through art. Sponsored by American Legion Auxiliary #197, the program is designed for veterans and their spouses to seek self-healing by developing coping skills for PTSD and anxiety through artistic expression. Those who attend can learn new skills and hobbies in a judgement-free atmosphere. It’s also absolutely free of charge. Various classes are offered at the Veterans Hall on Yuba Street in Downtown Redding the first and third Tuesday’s of each month from 4 to 6PM. More can be learned at 275-5212.
