A jury trial began Tuesday for a man accused of stabbing another man to death. In the afternoon of April 23rd of last year, 28-year-old Pete Jeppesen was stabbed to death at an Akard Avenue apartment complex. He was found on the ground in front of the apartments suffering from a stab wound and died a short time later at the hospital. Officers learned Jeppesen had been in a fight with 37-year-old Morgan Eastwood Eddy. Officers searched for two hours and eventually found eddy nearby on Cypress Avenue. He’s being tried for murder.
