It wasn’t long ago that a pound of cocaine would mean some real prison time. Ruben Nicholas Jimenez was stopped in Tehama County for a vehicle code violation and the officer noticed unspecified indications of drug trafficking so he called in Tehama Interagency Drug Enforcement agents. They found about a pound of cocaine in the car. Jimenez has been sentenced to 4 months in jail, 80 hours community service and 3 years probation.
