A man who was shot to death in Northern Siskiyou County early Friday morning has been identified. At 1:45AM deputies were sent to a home on Wagon Road in the Hornbrook area. They found 60-year-old David Ralph Casper had been shot but was still alive. Despite the efforts of medics, he died at the scene. Following an investigation, detectives arrested 49-year-old Martin Todd Linville. He was booked into jail for murder. Sheriff John Lopey says alcohol may have partially fueled the incident. An autopsy is planned for this week.
