A 55-year-old Anderson man has been sentenced for sexually assaulting two children. James Vincent Davis had previously made a plea deal to reduce the charges against him. Davis victimized two children in 1996 and in 2012. After pleading guilty in November to 4 counts of committing lewd and lascivious acts against children under the age of 14, Davis was sentenced Tuesday to 12 years in state prison. After he’s released, Davis will be a registered sex offender for life.
