It’s becoming a regular fixture of Redding City Council meetings. Citizens complaining about public safety and begging the council to do something about it. Fifteen different speakers came to the podium during the public comment period and spent 45 minutes railing on the city council for not doing enough to curb the growing problem of crime and homelessness. Two weeks ago a group called “Take Back Redding” launched a recall of two city council members – Francie Sullivan and Kristen Schreder.
