Redding Fire Department is looking for information on an intentionally started vehicle fire in North Redding. At around 2 O’clock Sunday morning Cal-Fire and Redding Firefighters got a report of a car engulfed in flames that were spreading to vegetation on Scott Road, off Oasis between Beltline and Lake. When they got there, crews found the car fully involved but they prevented it from spreading to nearby brush, vehicles and homes. Redding Fire Investigator Patrick O’Connor determined the fire had been intentionally set. Anyone with information should call 225-4141.
