Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating a pair of church break-ins in Happy Camp. On Thursday morning an overnight burglary was reported at the Horse Creek Community Church. There was damage to an exterior door and several items were stolen, including a t.v., speakers and other electronics. On Saturday somebody damaged the front door to get into All Saints Catholic Church. They stole a donation box and an item called a Ciborium. It’s a 3 inch tall brass cylindrical vessel with a 3-quarter inch cross on the lid. The sheriff’s office has not determined if the two break-ins are related.
