A woman was stabbed in the City of Shasta Lake overnight. A little after One O’clock Wednesday morning deputies and medics were called to the intersection of Williamette Street and Montana Avenue. 37-year-old Christina Dunn was suffering from a stab wound to her abdomen and she was transported to Mercy Hospital for her non-life threatening wound. An investigation led deputies to a home on Montana Avenue, where they arrested 17-year-old Thor Turnbaugh. Although he’s a juvenile his name is being released, apparently due to the nature of the alleged crime. During questioning Turnbaugh reportedly admitted to stabbing Dunn during an altercation involving multiple people. The knife believed to be used was found in the area. Turnbaugh, who was reportedly drunk, was booked into juvenile hall for assault with a deadly weapon.
