A suspect in a recent bank robbery in Happy Camp has been identified as a man already in custody in Oregon. On June 14th a man entered the Scott Valley Bank in Happy Camp and said he had a gun as he demanded money. He was given an undisclosed sum of cash and he fled on foot. No gun was actually seen. The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office believes the robber was Jade Charleton Yandell of Cave Junction, which is just over the Oregon border from Happy Camp. Jade and Cedar Yandell were both arrested for a bank robbery committed in Grants Pass on June 28th.
