Recovery from chemical dependency will be celebrated this Saturday in Redding. The “Recovery Happens” event to celebrate life, community and sobriety will feature a free BBQ, live music and family friendly activities. The event is sponsored by a collaboration of local private, public and non-profit organizations. It’ll be Saturday from 11AM to 5PM at Riverfront Park, which is next to the Sundial Bridge.
