A Red Bluff child rapist will probably spend the rest of his life behind bars. 53-year-old David Eric Rios pleaded guilty in October to two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of 14 and one count of forcible lewd acts on a child. He had previously faced more than 20 counts in the case. He was arrested in December of last year by Red Bluff Police and jailed on $5 million bail while he awaited court. As part of his plea deal, Rios has been sentenced to 40 years to life in state prison
