This dry December we’re experiencing has prompted a suspension of virtually all burning in Shasta County and eastern Trinity County. The ban was declared Friday by CalFire. It covers all residential outdoor burning of landscape debris, and it includes all elevations. Responsibly built campfires in established campgrounds or on private property are still allowed.
