5 people were taken to the hospital after a head-on crash in East Redding Sunday night. Redding Police were called to the intersection of Hartnell Avenue and Churn Creek and found a Honda sedan and a Nissan SUV had crashed head on. Police say the Honda was traveling south on Churn Creek, and as the driver attempted to pull into the Circle K store, the car was struck by a Nissan Xterra. Police say the driver of the Nissan ran a red light at Churn Creek and Hartnell. The two people in the Nissan and the three riding in the Honda were taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.
