A Redding Police clean-up crew found a cute surprise that apparently was lucky to have been found. RPD Community Service Officer Lynn Herreid and his crew were clearing a homeless camp Thursday when they came across nine tiny puppies. They were apparently from different litters, as some of them appeared to be several weeks old and some of them looked newborn. They were all malnourished. The pups and a mother dog were handed over to Haven Humane Society.
