A Redding probationer was arrested early Thursday morning for prowling after being caught inside the yard of Redding Yamaha. Redding Police responded to a burglar alarm at 4:30AM at the business on Twin View Boulevard, where they sell and repair motorcycles, ATV’s, personal watercrafts and boats. A car was found parked along the fenceline, and a hole had been cut in the chain link fence. Officers made several announcements on their PA systems warning whomever was inside to reveal themselves, but there was no response so Njord the K9 was set loose to sniff out the intruder. 46-year-old Kenneth Williams was reportedly found hiding underneath a boat. He’s on post release supervision for possession of stolen property. He was booked into jail for prowling, possession of burglary tools, vandalism and possession of a meth pipe.
