Redding Police used their monthly shift overlap day Thursday to to a special enforcement sweep throughout town. The double-staffed day is sometimes used for training and sometimes used for operations such as Thursday’s. Business owners were contacted earlier in the week and asked about ongoing issues. Those issues were addressed by officers on bicycles, off-road motorcycles and patrol vehicles. Three felony arrests were made, as well as six misdemeanor arrests, and 27 citations were issued.
