Here’s a lucky strike for anyone looking to adopt a pet this week. Haven Humane Society is offering adoptions of any dog or cat at the shelter for just $25. That includes shots, spay or neuter, health screening and microchip. The Saint Patrick’s Day special only runs through this Saturday. Many of the animals can be seen at havenhumane.org or on their Facebook page. The shelter is off Highway 273 on Eastside Road just south of Redding.
