Supervisor Candidates To Debate At Public Forums

The candidates for Shasta County Board of Supervisors will participate in public forums sponsored by the non-partisan League of Women Voters of the Redding Area. The forums are great opportunities for voters to pose questions directly to the candidates with no filters and no restrictions. The District Five seat is currently held by Les Baugh, a pastor and former Anderson city councilman. He’s challenged by Melissa Hunt, a realtor who’s currently on the Anderson City Council and Alex Madrigal, a Shingletown native who’s also a realtor. Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 they’ll be at Anderson New Tech High School. The District One candidates will meet on the 16th.
