Red Bluff ranks 27th in the state for per capita vehicle versus pedestrian collisions. For bicyclists the city comes in at number 6. On Friday officers hit several intersections around town. They had a plain clothed officer crossing in a crosswalk while two patrol cars and a motorcycle stood by and watched. During the 4 hour operation, 29 failure to yield tickets were written.
