A Tehama County man has been sentenced to prison for child abuse. 30-year-old Johnathan Moralli was babysitting a 4-year-old boy while the child’s mother was at work. After coming home multiple times to find the child injured, the mother reviewed her home surveillance system and saw Moralli physically abusing her son. Moralli has been convicted of felony child abuse with a special allegation. He has a prior strike conviction, and this one counts as his second strike. He’s been sentenced to 8 years in state prison.
