A power outage affected a fairly large area of East Redding Tuesday morning, including the neighborhood of the KQMS studio. The electricity failed at around 9AM south of Hartnell, west of Shasta View and east of Victor. More than 1300 customers were affected by the outage. Redding Electric Utility Director Dan Beans told us it was a breaker failure at an Airport Road power relay. Electricity was restored at around 10:30AM.
