Three cannabis business proposals have been approved by the City of Redding. City officials delayed the process in June, citing the number of proposals and their length. City Manager Barry Tippin said 18 proposals were received by city staff, and some of them were more than 200 pages long. The review process included some interviews. Just three of the 18 have been recommended to take the next step, which will be in the hands of state regulators. The three so-far successful businesses are Bryant Wellness Partners Inc., Hype Cannabis Company and the Green Door.
