A pair of suspects got away from Redding Police after a traffic stop Wednesday morning. An officer stopped a pickup truck that was missing a license plate near West Street and Shasta Street. The driver pulled into a private driveway, then jumped out and ran while the truck was still moving. It kept rolling until it ran into a doctor’s office. On the front seat was a loaded high powered assault rifle. The passenger was detained but, despite an extensive search with help from a CHP helicopter, the driver was not found.
