A Redding man has been convicted of burglary by a Shasta County jury. On January 5th of last year, Shadoe River Sanders went into a house on Greenstone Place, which is off Foothill Boulevard in west Redding. He was confronted by the homeowners and fled with their house keys and garage door openers. About an hour and a half later a Redding Police officer spotted Sanders walking back toward the house carrying a grocery bag and a three foot long metal bar. At the time of his arrest, Sanders was on felony probation from two other convictions. His three day trial ended Tuesday. He’ll be sentenced on all three of the cases on March 8th, and he could get up to 8 years 4 months in state prison.
