A Canadian man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Trinity County Friday afternoon. At around 1:45PM the unidentified 48-year-old man from Saskatchewan was riding a fully dressed 2015 Harley-Davidson northbound on Highway 3 north of Ramshorn Road at around 60 miles an hour. Witnesses told the CHP that the rider appeared to lose control and turned from the roadway, traveling along the shoulder of the highway for a while before overturning. The man was ejected from the big bike and hit the ground hard. Witnesses attempted to revive the man but he died at the scene. The CHP says drugs and alcohol are not suspected. The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office is trying to contact the man’s family to notify them before publicly releasing the name.
