A Red Bluff man is going back to state prison, a place he’s become very familiar with. 42-year-old Hanoa Nahinu already had many arrests on his record when he was taken into custody for outstanding arrest warrants. During the booking process, after being warned of the consequences of smuggling anything into jail, Nahinu was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. For that offense Nahinu was sentenced to four years, with two to be served in custody and 2 on mandatory supervision. During the supervised release part of the sentence, the Tehama Interagency Drug Enforcement Task Force arrived at his Red Bluff home with a search warrant. They found a stolen .40 caliber Glock handgun, methamphetamine, scales and packaging materials, a stun gun and several cell phones. Nahinu has been given a six year prison sentence.
