Anderson’s Walmart has made a donation to the Anderson Police Department. On Tuesday, Chief Michael Johnson, along with APD personnel, accepted a $5000 grant to help support enforcement at the store. Management expressed their gratitude to the department for conducting regular enforcement at the location and wanted to support future operations. The store also donated ice chests and water in an effort to make sure officers and their K9’s stay hydrated in the summertime heat. The department said they will ensure that the funds go directly to enforcement activities at the store.
