A Cal-Fire firefighter had his equipment stolen from his Anderson house last Friday. The man had his gear in a red duffle bag in his garage off of Nicole Court in Anderson. While working in his backyard, he left the garage door open and someone stole the bag, which weighs over 100 pounds. Among the missing items are Nomex clothing, web gear and boots used in wildfire fire fighting. It also contained a helmet, mask and other equipment used in fighting structure fires. Anderson Police detectives are looking for the public’s help in recovering the equipment.
