Nearly a year after the start of the devastating Camp Fire, the Town of Paradise is slowly recovering and rebuilding. The most recent numbers show that 312 building permits have been issued, with 151 in the plan check stage. 463 building permit applications have been received and 11 new homes have been completed. 18,000 homes were destroyed last November. In the past year, many businesses have reopened, but residents have been slow to return. There are a number of commemorative activities planned around the anniversary date on Friday. Details are posted on the “Town of Paradise” Facebook Page.
